5-The Haunting of Bly Manor

Based on Henry James novel, this super natural horror drama series has some chilling scenes which cause you guaranteed Goosebumps once you started to watch it. Story tells us about a governess as she is hired by a wealthy man to take care his orphan niece and nephew. When she reached at Bly Manor to start her job, things got spooky there. It is more in psychological vein than scary jumps but it surely gives you a chill to the bone with its moving dolls, misty lakes and creepy mirror views. Most of character development takes place in second half of the series and that’s the reason it received some negative reviews from critics. However, it may not be as good as its predecessor, but it still manages to hunt you with its creepy horror theme and plot to scare its viewers by horror scenes. 


This American thriller faith-based series tells a story which is already accepted by billion people of our world. Enter Al-Messiah, a man from Syria, who can perform certain miracles, speaks brilliantly in front of thousands of people and he might also be a complete fraud. A CIA agent approaches him with logical suspicion about his global agenda because of increasing numbers of followers all around the world. This half fascinating and half frustrating series took a good start but its bland story make it less entreating and it almost run out of ideas after establishing its base for audience. Despite its average reviews from critics, it surely gives a vibe about conspiracy theories and end times in very thrilling way but it has also sparked a controversy because some people demanded to ban it due to its religious content.

3- The Witcher

Set on a fictional medieval landmass known as The Continent, this action fantasy drama series explore the adventures of Geralt of Rivia as he is trying to find his destiny in this world. This dark, gore action series inspired a by game of same name, has monsters, witches, magic and a little bit of drama to lure its audience in a world full of wonderful things. Geralt, who is a monster hunter, embarks on a journey to find his fate and some certain incidents bring him to Princes Ciri to fulfil their destiny. Charisma of Henry Cavil is at its peak and remarkable performance of other cast members helped it to bring a huge audience. Character building is slow throughout whole series with back stories to support the plot but great visuals and dark humor make it worthy of your time. This adaptation from a game is a whole package to entertain people with sword fighting and witchcraft action textured with emotional context to give you best entertainment.


In these days, there are hardly any season which can be enjoyed by both parents and children together but this year, Netflix managed to deliver us this amazing corny musical comedy drama which became popular not only among teens but in adults too. Without any drugs, violence and profanity, this series is truly a family show and people are amazed by it. Inspired by Brazilin series of same name, this remake contains all elements to enjoy like music, comedy, drama with a clever storytelling and remarkable performances of cast members. This super hit series stars a talented new-comer Madison Reyes as Julie, a high-schooler in present days L.A, as she is unable to play in her school music team, she accidentally releases three ghosts and together they form their own band. It received positive reviews from critics and people who are praising its comedy, music and its amazing direction. So, it’s a good choice for those who are looking for some awesome music comedy to kill their boredom.

1-The Queens Gambit

If you want to see addiction, obsession, trauma, and chess in one act together then get ready to be blown away by this wonderful masterpiece.  Considered one of the best miniseries of 2020, it won the hearts of people as well as critics who are praising its story, visuals, and soundtrack. Plot revolves around an orphan chess prodigy teen who is suffering from emotional issues and her dependence on drugs, determined to become world’s greatest chess player. Emotionally intelligent writing backed by astonishing performance of Anna Jay-Taylor makes it an eye fast and an absolute win. Clever storytelling and incredibly realized period details leaves its viewers in mesmerizing state of mixed emotions.  The Queens Gambit is more of character study with ongoing story and brilliant cinematography.
